WORSHIP TIMES
Our regular worship times are 6:00 pm on Saturdays, and 9:00 am on Sundays. All are invited to come and listen to God's Word along with us.
WORSHIP STYLE
Both of our two worship services are considered traditional style. However, we do still offer some variety and include some contemporary music and style.
REST AREAS
Zion has two restrooms located in the church hall (lower level).
WHAT TO WEAR?
You may come as you are to worship. There is no particular dress code. Even so, many people do put on their best to show honor to our loving God.
OFFERINGS
The gifts that come from Jesus are free. Our members respond to their Savior’s love with offerings that are given joyfully and generously. We want everyone to give out of love for our Savior and not "reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver" (2 Corinthians 9:7). Their cheerful gifts support the mission and ministry of our congregation. While visiting us at Zion, we do not expect you to contribute to our congregation’s work.
RYAN MINISTRY CENTER
The house just north of church, at 1588 Main St., is where our offices are located. We also hold some Bible studies in the fireside room there.
KID-FRIENDLY?
Children are welcome at Zion. So please don't be afraid to bring them into the service. We offer a brief children's devotion for the younger members as part of our worship service. At the invitation of pastor, children are invited to come forward to the front of the church to hear this special message.
Children can also become restless. You may use the area in the fellowship hall (lower level) if the need arises. You are able to view and hear the service from there.
We also offer a Sunday school program for children ages 4-11. Sunday school meets Sunday mornings after worship at 10:15 AM in the Illinois Lutheran School building (behind church).
